Welcome to Chateau de Pomiro. By making a booking or using our website (www.chateaudepomiro.com), you agree to comply and be bound by the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully.

Chateau de Pomiro is located on a four hectare estate based in the Gers, in South West France, offering accommodation, experiences and event spaces. The Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings made with Chateau de Pomiro and Pomiro.

Booking Policy

All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation

To confirm your reservation, we ask for full payment upon booking. Any additional costs such as food, drinks and extras incurred during the stay will be settled upon departure.

Full payment must be made using the accepted payment methods listed below.

For the cottage we ask for a refundable security deposit of €150. The security deposit will be refunded within 48 hours of your departure unless there is significant damage to the property.

A booking is only confirmed upon receipt of a booking confirmation email from Chateau de Pomiro. Full payment is required at the time of booking.

Check in & Check out

Check in is 4pm - 7pm (Check in after this time will need to be requested in advance)

Check out is by 10am

Please notify us in advance of your estimated arrival time. Early check in or late check out is not available.

Free parking is available for guests in the parking area within the grounds

Cancellation Policy

We recommend that you have comprehensive travel insurance including cancellation cover.

We understand that plans can change and we aim to be as sympathetic and helpful as we can if this situation arises. However, we are a small business & cancellations have a huge impact on us.

To help us manage our small business effectively and fairly, we kindly ask you to review our cancellation terms below before booking;

In the case of a booking cancellation request we will do our best to refill the booking period. If we are successful in refilling the booking we will return the full payment to you (minus any admin fees incurred + the booking card transaction, 3%)

Non arrivals or early departures will be charged in full

Payment

Any outstanding balance is due on the morning of departure.

We accept the following forms of payment; Visa, Mastercard and Cash.

Use of the property

Guests must respect the property and its surroundings.

Any damage to the property must be reported immediately. Guests may be liable for repair or replacement costs.

Noise levels must be kept to a minimum, especially between 10pm and 8am

Children & Babies

The Garden Cottage is our child friendly accommodation and we are able to provide an additional travel cot, we charge €10 to cover the laundry.

Children of all ages are welcome but they must be under adult supervision at all times due to the presence of a swimming pool & wells onsite.

Dog policy

Our dog friendly accommodation is the Garden Cottage.

Small dogs are welcome, but must be approved before booking and there is an additional cleaning fee of €35.

We have outlined a few house rules below;

• Dogs must always be kept on a lead in the communal areas, this includes the terraces, gardens and paths and must be supervised at all times
• Dogs are strictly not allowed in the swimming pool or surrounding area out of respect for other guests & hygiene
• Owners are responsible for picking up any mess
• Dogs are not allowed on the beds or sofas
• Guests are required to ensure their dogs keep noise to a minimum, out of respect for other guests

If your dog causes any damage during your stay you will be charged accordingly

Swimming pool policy

The shared pool is not supervised. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times in and around the pool area. We ask our guests to please shower before entering the pool. Diving is not allowed due to the various sloped depths of the pool. Glass is not allowed in the pool area, we can provide plastic drinking cups if needed.

Chateau de Pomiro and Pomiro are not responsible for any accidents that occurred within the pool or surrounding area.

The pool opens at 10am and closes at 8pm. Outside of these hours the security cover will be closed and swimming is not allowed for guest safety.

Key policy

In the case of losing a key, please inform us immediately. A replacement fee of €30 will be charged per key. Always remember to return the keys before checkout.

Liability

We are not liable for loss, damage, or injury sustained on our premises or to guest property during their stay.

Guests are advised to take out appropriate travel insurance.

Breakages

We have selected our interiors, furnishing and furniture with a lot of care and attention. Please inform us if anything becomes lost or damaged so that we can repair or replace it for our next guest. In case of missbehavior the guest will be held responsible.

Cancellation by Us

We reserve the right to cancel, suspend, or refuse access to our services at any time, without prior notice, if we reasonably believe that you have breached these Terms and Conditions, engaged in unlawful activity, or acted in a way that may cause harm to us, other guests, or third parties. In the event of such cancellation, any rights previously granted to you will immediately cease, and we shall not be liable for any losses or damages arising from the cancellation. Where applicable, we may provide a refund at our sole discretion, subject to the circumstances and any legal obligations

• Covid 19

If we are unable to host you due to restrictions imposed on us by the French Government we will issue you a voucher that will allow you to postpone your stay to another date.

Prices

We reserve the right to change our prices at any time. This does not affect bookings already made. We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time.

If you have any concerns, complaints, or feedback regarding our website, products, or services, please contact us promptly at [email protected]. We take complaints seriously and aim to respond within a reasonable timeframe. Upon receiving your complaint, we will investigate the matter and work to resolve it fairly and efficiently. If further steps are required, we will keep you informed of the progress and outcome.
